I believe we are taught creativity as children, we are taught about possibilities. I had a very creative mother and grandmother;
Both were raised in the Midwest.
They survived the depression, they made their survival almost seem romantic to me. Making something new out of something old was commonplace to them. , I love that about them both.
I have always loved folk art; the fact that no matter what
Circumstance you may be in, you can make your space better.
There is always hope
That we do affect our world some how, we are responsible to make this world a better place.
I make art because it makes me happy, it fills me,
I want my art to do that for others.
